At Signature Building Systems, we are committed and focused on incorporating green products into our homes whenever feasible. Over the next few weeks, we will be transitioning the insulation used on every Signature home to a new, greener; or perhaps I should say browner; insulation from Knauf Insulation called EcoBatt.

This revolutionary insulation is composed mainly of sand; a rapidly renewable resource; giving it a brown color. Its other main component is post consumer recycled glass and unlike traditional insulation it does not contain artificial colors, acrylics, and other chemicals. It has elevated acoustical performance, excellent insulating value, and superior consistency throughout the product. Efficient insulation is the simplest and most cost effective way to reduce energy use and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. We understand that green isn’t a niche market any longer; it is now a mainstream focus where companies must adapt and conform to stay ahead of the curve. For more information on EcoBatt insulation please contact us or visit Knauf Insulations website at www.knaufinsulation.us
